Manisha Kothari

2021 USA Fellow at Eisenhower Fellowships

Manisha Kothari is an experienced professional in water resources management and strategic planning, currently serving as the Manager of the Alternative Water Supply Program at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission since 2006. This role involves establishing and managing a program focused on developing sustainable water supplies in response to drought and climate challenges. Previously, Manisha held positions as a Senior Water Resources Planner, founder of Wishwrap, Inc., Senior Planner at URS Corporation, and Country Manager at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. Additionally, Manisha gained recognition as a 2021 USA Fellow with Eisenhower Fellowships, engaging in a global exchange of ideas. Manisha holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
