Chinyere Okpara's work experience includes various roles in clinical research and scientific fields. Chinyere currently works at Eisai EMEA as the International Project Team Adult and Pediatric Clinical Development Lead. Prior to this, they held positions as the International Project Team Clinical Lead and Senior Director of Clinical Research at the same company. Chinyere also has experience as a Director at Chibarz Clinical Consulting Ltd. Chinyere worked at ONO PHARMA UK Ltd as a Senior Clinical Science Manager and Clinical Science Manager. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Industry Manager at the London (North West) Comprehensive Local Research Network and as a Pharmacovigilance Scientist at Takeda Global Research and Development Centre (Europe) Ltd. Chinyere also has experience as a Senior Scientist at the Molecular and Biochemical Parasitology Group at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Liverpool. Chinyere started their career as a Research Scientist at the Biomolecular Chemistry Group and GlaxoSmithKline.

Chinyere Okpara completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Pharmacology with a second-class honors (2:1) from the University of Liverpool, from 1999 to 2004. Chinyere then pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Process Research and Development with a distinction, specializing in Medicinal Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Scale-up, at the same university. Chinyere's education history also includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicinal Chemistry, also obtained from the University of Liverpool.
