Rohit Trivedi is a Research and Innovation Engineer at EirGrid Group since May 2023. Prior to this role, Rohit was a researcher at the International Energy Research Centre from January 2021 to May 2023, focusing on Pan-European projects aimed at decarbonising smart grids and energy networks. Rohit has experience as a Power Systems Software Engineer at TNEI, conducting power system studies using IPSA software with Python interfacing, and completed an MSc project as a Research Intern at IERC on optimizing renewables in the Irish energy market. Previous roles include Research Assistant at the University of Bradford, Electrical Design Engineer at PETROMECH Baroda LLP, Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at PRSST, and Engineering Supervisor at Produit Control Systems Engineering. Rohit holds a Master of Science in Smart Grids & Energy Systems from the University of Bradford and degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University and Made Easy Education Pvt. Ltd.
