John Herscher has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. John has worked as the Director of Quality and Manufacturing Operations at EILEEN FISHER, Inc since 2022. Prior to that, they were a self-employed consultant in manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance from 2020 to 2022. John also held several positions at Chico's FAS, Inc., including Director of Sourcing Operations, Quality Assurance & Asia Technical Support Team from 2017 to 2020, and Director of Sourcing Operations & Quality Assurance from 2011 to 2017. Additionally, they worked at Terry Products, Inc. in various roles such as General Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Quality Manager, Chief Engineer, and Engineer from 1984 to 2001. John has also worked at other companies such as Enmont Sportswear, Ruff Hewn, and Blue Bell, Inc., covering roles related to plant engineering, production planning, and quality assurance. John Herscher attended North Carolina State University where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. In addition, they received a certification in General Sewing Data (GSD) from Methods Workshop, UK in July 1996.
