Tamer Ahmed is a Senior Scientist II at Eikon Therapeutics, with extensive experience in translational oncology and drug discovery. Previously, Tamer held positions as Senior Scientist and Scientist in Translational Oncology at PMV Pharmaceuticals, and as a Research Scientist at Cornerstone Pharmaceuticals. Tamer's research has focused on the mechanisms of action and resistance of small molecule inhibitors targeting the ERK signaling pathway in BRAF and RAS driven tumors. Additionally, Tamer's work at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai involved developing therapeutic strategies to combat resistance in these cancers. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Kentucky, an MS in Pharmaceutics, and a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Assiut University.
