Stephanie Cunningham has worked in a variety of roles in both the private and public sectors. From 2016 to present, they have been the CEO/President and Co-Founder of Eikon Research, Inc. Prior to that, they worked for the Space Missile Defense Command, US Army from 2008 to 2016. During their time there, they served as a Sensors Engineer for the Directed Energy Division, Lead Radar Engineer for the Projectile Tracking System (PTS) Radar, and Radar Engineer. Stephanie also had an internship as a Radar Engineer. Her roles included being an Infrared and RF sensor subject matter expert for the Directed Energy Division and High Energy Laser Mobile Demonstrator (HEL-MD) project, as well as project manager and lead engineer to develop a revolutionary fire-control sensor suite capable of high-resolution tracking in the presence of rain, fog and sandstorms. Additionally, they were an Army scientist in the High Energy Laser (HEL) Lab and personally developed radar data analysis software and performed multiple complex radar data analysis studies.
Stephanie Cunningham obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2011. Stephanie then went on to earn their Master's Degree in the same field from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2014.
