Daniel Sachs is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Eight Sleep since June 2022, bringing extensive experience in product design and engineering from previous roles at notable companies such as Google and Apple. Sachs held the position of Product Design Engineer at Google from August 2018 to June 2022, and served as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Desktop Metal, Apple, Superpedestrian, GI Dynamics, and 1366 Technologies, where contributions included developing 3D printer processes, mechanical design for iPad products, design validation for innovative technologies, and creating automated systems for medical device manufacturing. Daniel Sachs holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, completed in 2018 and 2017, respectively.
