Rushan Wang is a doctoral student at Eidg. Forschungsanstalt WSL, specializing in Geology/Earth Science at ETH Zürich, where studies commenced in January 2024. Previously, Rushan served as a co-assistant at GISphere since June 2021 and as a student assistant at ETH Zürich from April 2022 to December 2023, focusing on historical map data processing, deep learning, and QGIS plugin programming. Rushan holds a Master's degree in Geomatics from ETH Zürich (2021-2023), a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Wuhan University (2017-2021), and also attended the University of St Andrews for a short course in Geology in 2019.
