Mark Lu is a data analyst at EGlobalTech, a Tetra Tech Company, since January 2024, and previously served as a data editor at D.C. Witness from May 2021 to December 2022, where Mark engineered and managed approximately 50GB of criminal justice data in Washington, D.C. Additional experience includes roles such as data manager and data intern, focusing on court reporting and data analysis of violent crime in D.C. Mark was also the editor-in-chief at The American Agora, managing editorial operations and contributing as a columnist on political and economic issues. Other notable positions include video producer for Fossil Free American University, researcher for American University Student Government, and research intern at The Center for Political Accountability. Mark holds a BA and BS in Political Science and Economics from American University and completed the Data Journalism Lede Program at Columbia University.
