Denzel Middleton is a scientific consultant at Eva Garland Consulting, LLC since October 2024, previously serving as a development officer at Maureen Joy Charter School from August 2023 to October 2024, where responsibilities included grant writing and implementing philanthropic initiatives to support education in East Durham. Prior to that, Denzel was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2021 to October 2024 and a graduate student researcher at West Virginia University from August 2015 to August 2021. Denzel holds a PhD in Animal Physiology from West Virginia University, as well as a Master's degree in Animal Physiology and a Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University.
