Luc Hendrickx is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Member of the European Economic and Social Committee since October 2023, Luc is also part of EFRAG's Sustainability Reporting Technical Expert Group since April 2022. Previously, Luc held the position of Director of Enterprise Policy and External Relations at SMEunited from January 2000 to July 2023. Luc's earlier career includes serving as an Advisor in the Cabinet of the Flemish Minister of Environment and Employment from March 1997 to July 1999 and in legal affairs at UNIZO from 1989 to 1999. Academically, Luc holds a Master's degree in Law from KU Leuven, a Diploma from the Institut Européen des Hautes Etudes Internationales in Nice, and a Master's degree in European Studies from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
