José Xavier is the CEO of Effy Healthcare, a healthcare startup. José previously worked at Startup Braga, another startup.

José Xavier has a degree in electrical engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, a master's degree in multimedia technology from Universidade do Porto, and post-graduate degrees in general management from the London Business School and CGG-General Management Program from Porto Business School. José is currently completing a Leadership Strategies for Information Technology in Healthcare program at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
