Jan Punt is a seasoned legal advisor with extensive experience in public law and organizational development. Currently serving as a Strategic Legal Advisor at the Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal since January 2023, Jan Punt provides interim advice on various legal areas including administrative law, HR, and organizational changes. Previously, from July 2018 to January 2023, Jan Punt held the position of Concernjurist and Deputy Head of the HR&JZ staff at the Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal, where responsibilities included leading the Legal Affairs team and implementing the Open Government Act. Jan Punt's career also features roles as an HR expert at the Westminster Foundation for Democracy and extensive advisory positions within the Tweede Kamer and Rijksoverheid, complemented by a Master of Laws and a background in international public law from renowned institutions.
