Michael Hubbard has a diverse work experience in the field of security and law enforcement. Michael is currently working as Director of Security at Edwardsville School District since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as Supervisor of School Safety and Security at East St. Louis School District 189 from August 2018 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for managing and maintaining the day-to-day security operations of the district and formulating security policies. Before joining the school district, Michael worked as the Chief of Police for the City of East St. Louis, Illinois from August 2015 to September 2017. Michael was responsible for managing the operations of the Police Department and handling various tasks such as hiring, policy assessment, and performance evaluation of staff.
Michael Hubbard attended Western Illinois University from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. Michael then completed the Basic Police Academy at Southwestern Illinois College in 1996, obtaining an Associate's degree.
