Gary Li is an accomplished Sr. Principal Engineer at Edwards Lifesciences, specializing in research and discovery related to polymers and biomaterials, particularly polymeric heart valves, since December 2022. Prior to this role, Gary provided consulting services in polymers, biomaterials, biocompatibility, and regulatory submissions at Wisdom Star BioMaterials Consulting, collaborating with over 30 companies including Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices. Gary's extensive experience includes over 20 years as a Senior Materials Scientist and Polymer Chemist at Porex, where significant contributions were made to research and production development. In addition to technical expertise, Gary has strong marketing acumen demonstrated through contributions to competitive landscape analyses and strategic market planning. Earlier academic roles included teaching and research at China Textile University.
