Cody Hartman is a seasoned professional in medical device research and development, currently serving as a Medical Device R&D Consultant at HartBeat Engineering LLC since May 2023. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at W. L. Gore & Associates, where Cody held various roles, including Innovation Associate, overseeing unmet patient needs, and Product Specialist for Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement, leading the development of minimally invasive therapies for heart failure. As Heart Valve Technology & Platform Leader, responsibilities included upholding best practices across multiple product development teams. Additional project management roles focused on transcatheter aortic valve replacement and balloon expandable stenting systems allowed Cody to lead teams towards achieving technical feasibility. Earlier experience at Raytheon involved developing prototype components and tooling for missile testing. Cody holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
