Richard Anderson is an experienced education technology professional with a diverse background in library science and technology integration. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Education Technology Support and Innovation at Washington International School since August 2006, Richard has also held roles as Director of Academic Technology and Learning and Technology Coordinator, where responsibilities included developing training modules for educators and supporting classroom technology integration. At Washington International School, Richard contributed as the Middle School and Upper School Librarian, managing French and Spanish resources and aiding teachers with research materials. In addition to ongoing work with Educational Collaborators since June 2014, Richard was a Learning and Technology Coordinator at WISSIT and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon, teaching computer applications and enhancing library services. Richard holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American Studies from the University of Minnesota.
