April Burkholder has a diverse work experience timeline. April has held various roles at Nelson Education, starting from June 2006 as a Customer Support Representative, then transitioning to being a Product Manager Assistant from December 2006 to June 2007. April then became a Marketing and Product Manager from June 2007 to May 2008. From May 2008 to the present, they have worked as a Learning Solutions Manager, with a promotion to Senior Learning Solutions Manager in August 2019. Additionally, they have also served as an Account Manager since June 2008. Currently, April Burkholder is working as a Business Development Manager at Education Perfect, starting from January 2023.

April Burkholder attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies.
