Sarah Ryan is a seasoned educational researcher with extensive experience in both academic and consulting environments. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at EDC, Sarah oversees complex research studies that address key educational policy issues while also leading a consultancy, Ryan Research Consulting, which focuses on understanding disparities in education. Previous roles include Director of the research and policy division at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research, and Senior Research Associate at EDC, along with positions at Carnegie Mellon University and various school districts. Sarah holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of California, Riverside, and has a strong foundation in curriculum and instruction as evidenced by a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor's degree from Edgewood College.
