Jork Zijlstra is a Senior DevOps Engineer at Energie Data Services Nederland (EDSN) B.V. since May 2024, previously serving as Lead Software Engineer at Gracenote from July 2017 to April 2024, where responsibilities included developing and maintaining various products using Scala, Java, NodeJs, and Typescript, while also leading DevOps and quality engineering efforts. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Pointlogic, where Jork contributed to transitioning the backend to a Restful API supported by Apache Spark, and as a Backend Developer at Kaliber-interactive, working on diverse projects from legacy system maintenance to greenfield initiatives. Jork started a career as a Software Developer at NetQuestionnaires, leading an automation department and providing customer support. Jork holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and Software Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
