Nelson Pinho serves as the Global Head of Digital & AI and Global Director of Digital Strategy & Architecture at EDP. Previously, Pinho was the Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State for Digital Transition in the XXII Government of the Portuguese Republic. Pinho has held positions at Microsoft, including Healthcare Industry Lead and Public Safety and National Security Industry Lead, and received recognition as a Microsoft Platinum Club Outstanding Achiever in FY19. Pinho is also a member of Health Parliament Portugal and a member of the Executive Committee at Compta, where Pinho also served as R&D Manager. Pinho earned a PhD in Engineering and Industrial Management with a focus on Service Design and a Master’s degree in Services Management from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
