Marisa Edmund has a strong background in sales, marketing, and human resources. Marisa started their career at Friedman Billings Ramsey & Co in 1997, working in the field of human resources. In 1998, they joined Edmund Optics, where they initially served as the HR Director before transitioning to the role of Director of Inside Sales from 2002 to 2005. From 2005 to 2015, they held the position of Executive VP of Marketing and Communications at Edmund Optics. In 2015, they were promoted to EVP Global Sales & Marketing, and in 2018 they became the Chief Global Marketing & Sales Officer, focusing on strategic development of global accounts and merger and acquisition endeavors.
Marisa Edmund pursued their education starting in 1994 at Georgetown University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Marketing. Marisa attended Georgetown University until 1998. Following this, from 1999 to 2002, Marisa Edmund attended Stockton University and obtained a Master of Business Studies degree, specializing in Marketing and Information Systems.
