Caren Deardorf currently serves as the Chief Commercial & Strategy Officer at Editas Medicine since September 2023 and holds board positions at NeuroSense Therapeutics, Crinetics Pharmaceuticals, and Pan-Mass Challenge. Previously, Caren was the Chief Commercial Officer at Magenta Therapeutics and Ohana Biosciences, demonstrating strong leadership in commercial strategy. Caren's extensive experience at Biogen includes key roles such as VP, Product Development and Commercialization Lead for SMA/SPINRAZA, and Global Brand Lead for TECFIDERA, which achieved significant market success. Caren also founded CD Consulting, advising biopharma companies on commercial strategies, and started their career at Biogen Idec Neurology in marketing roles. Academic credentials include an MBA in International Finance and Marketing from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Biology and French from Tufts University.
