Derek Matsushima, CFA, is a finance professional with extensive experience in investor relations and financial management within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Principal Manager of Investor Relations at Edison International, Derek previously held various senior management roles, including Senior Manager of Project Analysis in Operational Finance and Senior Manager of Financing in Treasury at Southern California Edison. In these positions, Derek managed teams, facilitated capital investment analyses, and oversaw $12 billion in debt and equity financing activities. Derek's earlier roles at Edison International involved strategic financial analysis, corporate finance project management, and supporting executive decision-making through complex modeling and valuation. Derek holds an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Real Estate, and Law from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
