Parth Thakur has a diverse range of work experience in engineering roles. Parth started their career as an Intern at JSR refrigeration and air conditioning, where they gained hands-on experience in fixing refrigeration systems and assisting customers. Parth then worked as a CAD Draftsman at Farm Machinery Canterbury, where they were responsible for updating 3D models, designing components for laser cutting, and creating user manuals.

Parth further enhanced their engineering skills at STX Technology as a Technical Design Engineer, and at Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) as a Design Engineer. At LIC, Parth designed and developed hardware products, managed projects, conducted technical reviews, and created technical documentation.

Parth continued their professional growth at LIC as a Systems Engineer, where they designed and developed system components, managed field trials, collaborated with stakeholders, and delivered technical documentation. Parth later joined Delta Engineering Limited as a Mechanical Engineer.

Most recently, Parth has been working at Beca as a Systems Engineer, where they engaged in multiple projects at a technical level, improved their systems engineering and soft skills, and managed stakeholders' expectations through clear communication and timely deliverables.

In the future, Parth will be joining Ediom Pty Ltd as a Systems Engineer.

Parth Thakur completed their secondary education at Lytton High School from 2010 to 2012. Parth then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at the University of Canterbury from 2012 to 2016.
