John Lawson is a professional photographer at Lawson Photographic Ltd since August 2020, specializing in corporate, advertising, and fashion photography. Concurrently, John is a professional photography student at Edinburgh College, holding an HND qualification and pursuing a BA in 2021/22. Prior to this, John experienced a significant career in the financial services sector, serving in various roles such as Head of Policy for Retirement Solutions and Pensions and Investments at Aviva from January 2013 to April 2019, and Head of Pensions Policy at Standard Life from June 2001 to December 2012. John's early career included positions at Bank of Scotland, leading sales strategies and managing large sales teams. Education encompasses a professional photography degree from Edinburgh College, along with qualifications from the Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute and the Personal Finance Society.
