Rakesh Sachdev is a Senior Advisor at New Mountain Capital and has held various leadership roles in the corporate sector. They served as Executive Director at Cummins Inc. from 1981 to 1999, and as President of Arvin Meritor for the Asia Pacific region from 2007 to 2008. Rakesh has been involved in numerous boards, including positions as Chairman of the Board at Axalta and Aceto Corporation, and as a board member for organizations such as Herc Rentals and ILC Dover. They earned an MBA from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, and both an MS and a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, respectively.
