Alex Wessel currently serves as the Regional Manager of Datacenter Operations for EMEA at EdgeConneX since December 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Global Switch as Campus Facility Manager and Critical Environments Manager from September 2019 to November 2021. Alex spent 14 years at Ministerie van Defensie, holding various positions such as Head of Technical Expertise for the NH-90 Helicopter and part-time Military Interpreter in French. Alex holds a Master's degree in Econometrics and Operations Research from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, obtained between 2016 and 2018, and a Bachelor's degree in Military Systems and Technologies - Aviation from the Royal Netherlands Naval Academy, completed in 2009.
