Fernando Jiménez Moreno has a strong background in software engineering and has worked in various roles throughout their career. Fernando is currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Edge Impulse, where they are the Tech Lead Manager for the Studio team.

Prior to that, Fernando worked at Igalia as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they led a project to port WPE WebKit to Android and implemented a core component of a hybrid events platform.

Before joining Igalia, Fernando worked at Mozilla for several years in different positions. As a Staff Research Engineer, they contributed to the Servo project, working on a new CSS layout engine and improving WebRTC support. Fernando also played a significant role in shipping Firefox Reality, an experimental WebXR-enabled browser. Before that, as a Senior Research Engineer, they led the design and implementation of the multimedia stack for Servo and worked on integrating Servo's concurrent CSS engine into Firefox as part of the Quantum CSS project. Additionally, they led multiple projects such as Firefox Sync and Firefox Hello and headed the Sensor Web cloud team at Mozilla.

Earlier in their career, Fernando worked at Telefónica Digital as a Software Engineer, where they were part of the team that developed Firefox OS. Fernando worked on various web APIs and applications and was the editor of the W3C Network Information API.

Fernando's work experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at Alba Fotónica S.L. from 2006 to 2009.

Fernando Jiménez Moreno pursued their studies in Computer Science at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. The specific start and end years of their education are not provided.
