Amaan Pirani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainable business practices and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Wezesha Aqua Farms since February 2023, Amaan focuses on empowering fisher communities in East Africa through sustainable aquaculture. In addition, Amaan contributes as an EDGE Expert from October 2023 and is a Co-Founder of Aghaz KE, which specializes in on-demand personal protective clothing and workwear manufacturing for specialized industries. Amaan previously held the position of VP of Partnerships - Real Estate at Afrigility from February 2022 to February 2023, supporting the African trade ecosystem. Earlier experience includes working as a Real Estate Sales Consultant at HassConsult from August 2015 to April 2018. Amaan's academic background includes studies at Monash University and completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Aga Khan Academy.
