Adriana Benalcazar Vega is a seasoned architectural professional with extensive experience in sustainable design and urban development. Currently serving as EDGE Faculty at the International Finance Corporation since November 2022 and holding dual roles as EDGE Auditor and EDGE expert at EDGE Buildings since November 2018, Adriana has also founded AB arquitectura + diseño. Previous roles include a consultative position at the Inter-American Development Bank, where analysis and recommendations were made on social housing projects with climate change considerations, and a professorship at UNIVERSIDAD UTE. Educational qualifications include a degree in Healthier Materials and Sustainable Building from Parsons School of Design and a Master in Dirección de Empresas Constructoras e Inmobiliarias from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, along with a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad de Las Américas. Adriana's portfolio features significant architectural and urban projects within various renowned organizations.
