Matthew Mitchell, Assoc. AIA, LEED® Green Associate™, is an accomplished architectural designer currently working with EDG Architecture | Engineering since November 2020, focusing on research and advanced fabrication methods. Matthew has a diverse background, previously serving as a project manager at The Center for Experimental Structures and holding various roles at Pratt Institute, including graduate teaching assistant and research design assistant. Notable achievements include winning the 2020 ULI Hines Student Design Competition and the SARA National Award for Merit. With professional experiences ranging from managing residential architecture projects at 2nyad to contributing to design firms such as Taylor and Miller Architecture, Matthew's skill set encompasses advanced design methodologies and practical construction knowledge, supported by a Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design.
