William Canup, LEED AP, is a seasoned facade inspector and restoration specialist currently working at EDG Architecture | Engineering since March 2022. Prior to this role, William served as a rope access technician and building inspector at Cole NYC, where responsibilities included conducting FISP inspections and various masonry and waterproofing repairs. With a strong background in facade restoration, local law inspections, and exterior envelope consulting from time spent at Surface Design Group, William also participated in the US ICOMOS International Exchange Program, contributing to cultural heritage management in Lithuania. Educational qualifications include a Masterā€™s Degree in Architectural History and Historic Preservation and a Bachelorā€™s Degree in Architectural History, both from the University of Virginia.
