Jeff Roush has held various software engineering roles since 1999. Jeff was Co-owner of Colorado Webfitters from 1999 to 2002, where they wrote dynamic pages for a community sports site using ColdFusion and SQL. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as a Software Developer at Designer Appliances, developing ergonomic utilities and exploring new software product ideas. During this time, they also worked as a self-employed Engineer, developing a soft, nearly touch-sensitive fabric USB keyboard. From 2006 to 2011, they were a Software Engineer at EZ Publishing, where they did TDD-based Ruby on Rails development of an email-and-marketing application, QA testing with Capybara and Selenium, and deployments with Webistrano and Capistrano. Jeff has been a Software Engineer at Edfinity since 2018.

Jeff Roush received their MA in Physics from the University of Oregon between 1986 and 1988. Prior to this, they earned their BA in Physics from Amherst College between 1980 and 1984.
