Oliver Childs currently serves as a Derivative Products Analyst at EDF Trading, starting in January 2023. Prior to this role, Oliver founded The Solar Factory, focusing on identifying, developing, and financing solar and storage opportunities for commercial SME sites from September 2020 to December 2022. Oliver's experience also includes positions as a Settlements Analyst at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. and a Middle Office Analyst at TotalEnergies, where responsibilities involved P&L and risk reporting across multiple countries and compliance oversight for procurement desk activities. Additionally, Oliver held roles at Centrica Energy Trading and Daventry Metal Products Ltd, gaining expertise in settlements, liquidity analysis, materials planning, and customer service. Oliver earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Energy Engineering from the University of Leeds between 2014 and 2018.
