Joan Amouyal has extensive experience in various finance and auditing roles. Joan started their career as a Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2001 before moving on to Grant Thornton as a Manager from 2003 to 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Deloitte as a Senior Manager, overseeing the audit of EDF Group reporting under IFRS and playing a key role in the acquisition of British Energy by EDF Group. In 2011, they joined EDF as the Head of financial reporting - Asset optimisation & Trading division, where they supervised the preparation of financial statements and designed internal controls. Since 2014, Joan has been working at EDF Trading as the Head of Finance, where they have built and developed the finance team, designed financial reporting systems, and implemented various financial processes and systems. Joan has also been involved in strategic divestitures and spinoff projects.

Joan Amouyal has a Master's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the Académie de Paris, which was completed in 2019. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in International Relations at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1998 to 2000. From 1994 to 1998, Joan Amouyal obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance, specializing in DESCF, from the Académie de Paris.
