Ruth Shewan is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public relations and corporate communication. Currently serving as the External Affairs Manager for Scotland at EDF Renewables UK & Ireland since October 2022, Ruth has previously held significant roles including Communications Manager for Scotland at London North Eastern Railway and Communications and Marketing Manager at NHS National Services Scotland. Ruth's experience spans various sectors, including agriculture with NFU Scotland, where responsibilities included media inquiries and social media management, and journalism, having worked as a Senior Reporter at multiple publications.
