Farid Rahoui is an accomplished data science and AI governance expert currently serving as the Global Head of Data Science & Data/AI Governance at Edenred since July 2024. Previously, Farid held the position of Data & AI Governance Senior Manager at iQo, where responsibilities included developing internal R&D, leading data science teams, managing data governance, and ensuring GDPR compliance in machine learning models. Farid also worked as a Senior Data Scientist at onepoint and MATIS, and spent several years as an Astrophysicist at the European Southern Observatory, focusing on research projects related to black holes. Additional experiences include a role as an Associate Researcher at Harvard University and serving as an Assistant Lecturer at Paris Diderot University. Farid holds a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Université Paris Cité and a Master of Science in Astronomy and Space Sciences from Université Paris-Saclay.
