Valerie Olson Verley is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in community center operations and recreation management. Since December 2011, Valerie has overseen the business operations of the Eden Prairie Community Center, leading a diverse team of full-time and part-time staff while managing vendor relationships and employee engagement strategies. Valerie's notable achievements include spearheading a $20 million Aquatics Expansion project and implementing innovative programs such as "Fitness in the Parks." Previously, Valerie served as an adjunct professor at Concordia University-St. Paul and held various roles, including Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance. Valerie holds a Master of Science in Recreational Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Concordia University-St. Paul.
