Lars Arvidsson has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Lars began their career at Ericsson in 1994, where they served as the Director of Mobile Solutions until 1998. Lars then joined IBM Global Services as a Client Sales Executive, responsible for driving and closing large outsourcing deals in the Nordic region. During their time at IBM, Lars successfully closed the largest outsourcing contract in Northern Europe at that time.
In 2000, Lars returned to Ericsson as the Vice President of Global Sales Communications, where they were responsible for Sun Microsystems' global business within the communication sector. Lars later became the Executive Director and Head of Customer Account, overseeing all of Sun's global business with Ericsson. Lars played a pivotal role in transforming the OEM business with Ericsson and expanding into areas like Managed Services.
In 2008, Lars took on the role of VP and Head of Swedish Accounts at Ericsson, where they led the transformation of Ericsson's business in Sweden and spearheaded innovative solutions in the media and transport sectors.
Lars's career also includes a directorship at Globus Consultus and several board of directors positions at eCurrency, Findec, and Innovez One. At eCurrency, Lars served as a Senior Advisor, providing strategic guidance. Lars continues to serve on the boards of Findec and Innovez One.
Throughout their career, Lars has demonstrated expertise in strategic advising, sales management, globalization, and driving business growth in the technology sector. Lars has extensive experience in international collaborations and engaging with government stakeholders.
Lars Arvidsson completed their education in a chronological manner. Lars obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Linköping University from 1980 to 1983. Later, they pursued an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management between 1997 and 1998. In 2002, Lars attended IMD, where they completed a Global Management program, though the specific field of study is unknown.
