Gerald Black is a seasoned entrepreneur and community builder with extensive experience across various tech and business sectors. Currently serving as a Partner and Community Manager at Black Ops, Gerald fosters community engagement and media management. In addition to leading initiatives for member engagement, Gerald is involved with XConnect as a Tech Ecosystem Builder & Consultant for Africa and hosts the Backend Series, spotlighting African startups and entrepreneurs. With a strong commitment to youth empowerment as an ECOWAS Youth Council Ambassador, Gerald also held significant roles at Anchor as Head of Go To Market and at Microblack as Managing Partner. Previous leadership positions include founding and directing Parkit and iFixng.com, alongside experience in business development with Fixit45. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Madonna University and multiple certifications in entrepreneurship and project management.
