Verel Rodrigues is an experienced professional in sustainability and communications, currently serving as the Campaigns Manager for the Green Britain Campaign at Ecotricity since December 2023. Previous roles include Social Media Strategist for the Bristol Green Party and Trustee for People & Planet, a UK student campaigning organization. Verel has also contributed as a Sustainability Consultant at Element Four and worked in Media & Communications for Extinction Rebellion UK. Earlier positions include Account Executive at Greenhouse PR, Energy Expert at Ecotricity, Graduate Sustainability Consultant at Hoare Lea, and Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Wates Group. Verel holds a Master's degree in Renewable Energy Systems Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University.
