Wendy Thornton has over 25 years of work experience in various roles in finance and accounting. Wendy began their career as an Accounting Clerk at Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa in 1992 and worked there until 1994. In the same year, they joined Lorne Oss, CGA as an Accountant. Wendy then moved on to work at Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service Inc., where they held the position of Director of Finance. Wendy has a strong background in financial management and accounting.

Wendy Thornton received a Financial Management Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1989 to 1991. Wendy then went on to earn a Designation from the Certified General Accountants Association, completing their studies from 1992 to 1998.
