Pujitha Prathipati

Pujitha Prathipati has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Pujitha started their professional career as an Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where they worked on a project related to wireless power quality meter. Pujitha gained a deep understanding of power quality meters and configured a remote display unit for real-time monitoring.

Pujitha then joined GE as an Electrical Engineering Intern, where they worked on the design of a solid-state circuit breaker. Pujitha was involved in designing circuits for smart shutdown and current monitoring, as well as selecting components to protect switches from voltage and current spikes.

Pujitha then had an internship at Infineon Technologies, where they contributed to the IPM (Intelligent Power Module) development. During their time there, they gained experience in the development of intelligent power modules.

Pujitha's next role was as an Electronics Engineering Intern at UQM Technologies, Inc. Here, they gained hands-on experience in electronics engineering, further honing their skills in the field.

Currently, they are working as an Electrical Engineer at Ecosense Lighting, where they are involved in the development of highly-efficient power supply and LED driver designs. Pujitha plays a crucial role in risk assessments, test matrix development, and mitigation plans. Pujitha also participates in design and layout reviews with cross-functional teams.

Pujitha Prathipati completed a Master of Science in Power Electronics from the University of Colorado Boulder from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, Pujitha obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. During this period, the field of study focused on Power Electronics, Renewable Sources of Energy, and Electric Drives. In addition to their formal education, Pujitha also obtained a certification in Introduction to Power Electronics from Coursera Course Certificates in November 2016.
