Esra Tat is an accomplished leader in the field of sustainability and waste management, currently serving as the Executive Director of Zero Waste Europe since April 2017. In this role, Esra provides strategic direction, management, and oversight of the organization’s programs and services. With a rich background, Esra has held various positions including Associate Director, Zero Waste Cities Programme Coordinator, and Network and Development Coordinator at Zero Waste Europe. Additionally, involvement with ECOS as Vice President and Executive Committee Member emphasizes a commitment to environmentally friendly standards. Esra's contributions extend to serving as Europe Regional Coordinator for GAIA, Steering Group Member for Break Free From Plastic, and Founding Director of Mission Zero Academy. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Business & Economics from Université Grenoble Alpes and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management from Northumbria University.
