Ian Carlton is an accomplished urban development professional with extensive experience in policymaking, urban planning, and real estate analytics. Currently serving as Project Director at ECONorthwest since 2016, Ian specializes in customizing web applications for MapCraft while developing analyses to support decision-making in urban contexts. As Co-Founder of MapCraft.io since 2015, Ian has been instrumental in providing real estate insights through innovative technology. Previous roles include Urban Development Advisor at Ian Carlton Research & Consulting, Co-Owner of Round Here Ventures, Project Manager for Central Atlanta Progress, and Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company. Ian holds multiple advanced degrees in City & Regional Planning and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
