Thiyagu Rajakannan, PhD, is a Principal Researcher at Econometrica, Inc., since October 2024, and previously served as a Senior Researcher, Practice Hub Lead, and Project Director at the American Institutes for Research from August 2018 to September 2024, specializing as a subject matter expert in pharmaceutical and clinical domains for federal and state government clients. Thiyagu's extensive experience includes roles as a Research Fellow at ClinicalTrials.gov under the National Institutes of Health, focusing on pharmacoepidemiology and drug safety; a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, with a focus on pediatric mental health; and a Faculty of Pharmacy at Manipal University, India, where Thiyagu taught and conducted research in pharmacoepidemiology. The educational background includes a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Manipal University and B.Pharmacy and M.Pharmacy degrees from The Tamilnadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University.
