Alec Crawford is a seasoned financial and technology leader with extensive experience in risk management and AI governance. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Artificial Intelligence Risk, Inc., Crawford has led the company to win the Waters Rankings 2024 Cybersecurity Award. In addition to leadership roles at various organizations, including Independent Director at Dynex Capital, Executive Board Member at the Global AI Ethics Institute, and Advisory Board Member at Ecolumix, Crawford has a rich background in investment risk management from previous positions at firms such as Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC, Ziff Brothers Investments, RBS, and Deutsche Bank. Crawford holds an AB in Computer Science from Harvard University.
