Jennifer Riem

Meeting Program Associate at Ecological Society of America

Jennifer Riem has extensive experience in ecological education and conference management, currently serving as the Meeting Program Associate and Science Programs Coordinator at the Ecological Society of America since October 2006. In these roles, Jennifer manages the submission and publication process for session information and presentation abstracts for the organization’s annual conference, serving as the primary contact for presenters and session organizers. Prior to this, Jennifer worked as an Education Coordinator, overseeing ESA's digital library for teaching resources, and gained hands-on research and teaching experience as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Miami University, along with earlier roles in laboratory research and zookeeping. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Rhodes College and has continued to develop expertise in ecology through various research projects and positions in academic and organizational settings.
