Alex Kiratu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in agronomy, sales, and management within the horticulture industry. Currently serving as the Director and General Manager at Ecolite Minerals Kenya Ltd since March 2021, Alex leads the largest vermiculite exfoliation plant in East Africa. Previous roles include Agronomy Business Development Sales and Marketing Specialist at The Real IPM Company (K) Ltd, Technical Advisor Consultant for Delmonte Kenya Limited, and Department Head for Agronomy Sales at Simbi Roses. Alex's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Egerton University and a Diploma in Management of Business Information Systems from the Kenya School of Professional Studies.
